NMU OFFERS CHANCE FOR KIDS TO LEARN GERMAN

            MARQUETTE – The modern languages and literatures department at Northern Michigan University is offering a two-week German Language Summer Camp for children ages 7-10. The course will meet from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 8-12 and Aug. 15-19 in West Science room 2806.

            It will cover topics such as movement, numbers and the alphabet. Students will play games and take short outings to reinforce in class activities. Classes will be taught by Jessica Straczowski, a certified language teacher and native German speaker, and Jason Woolman, a German Language certified student. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
