MARQUETTE – The World Association for Case Method Research and Application (WACRA) recently recognized Northern Michigan University marketing professor James Camerius as Global Case Method Ambassador. The ceremony was held on the esplanade of Spilber Castle in Bruno, Czech Republic, in conjunction with WACRA's 22nd international conference.
The award recognizes Camerius' leadership and extensive contributions to case method research and application. The case method is a way of teaching which involves problem solving in organizational situations. Camerius, a long-time WACRA member, serves on the organization’s advisory board, the organizing committee for the international conference, the standard-setting committee, and the board of the new international WACRA Journal. He has served as WACRA case workshop and colloquium director since 1997.
