MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University’s biology department is sponsoring a seminar at 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building. The seminar is titled, "The Immunological Target of the Plague Virulence Protein, YopM."
It is being presented by Edward J. Kerschen of the University of Kentucky. He received his doctorate in biology from Dayton University and is now a post-doctoral fellow specializing in immunology and molecular genetics in the department of microbiology.
The public is invited to attend free of charge.
