THE FATE OF MERCURY TO BE DISCUSSED

            MARQUETTE – Douglas Knauer, a retiree of the Department of Natural Resources, will be presenting the next seminar in the Northern Michigan University biology seminar series. The presentation is titled, “The Biogeochemical Fate of Mercury in Aquatic Ecosystems of the Great Lakes Region.”

            The seminar will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in the Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building of the Seaborg Science Complex at NMU. The public is welcome to attend this free event.
