NMU ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

            MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University has announced the winners of its Leadership Scholarship for 2003. Four recipients were chosen from the nearly 125 high school seniors who participated last November in the Triple A (Academic Achievement Awards) Scholarship program.

            The winners will receive $1,500 per year for the next four years at NMU. While attending NMU, the Leadership Scholars are required to enroll full-time, achieve and maintain a minimum 3.00 grade-point average, and be involved in leadership development and student organizations.

            The winners are:

            From Michigan (cities listed alphabetically)

            Cass City: Dara Iwankovitsch; Petoskey: Kathryn Berger; Vulcan: Megan Meden.

            From Wisconsin

            Green Bay: Jennifer Brice.
