STUDENTS RECEIVE TECHNOLOGY AND APPLIED SCIENCES AWARDS

            MARQUETTE – Two Northern Michigan University students received awards from the School of Technology and Applied Sciences at a recent luncheon.

            Briana Carrow, a hospitality management senior from West Chicago, Ill., received the All School Student Award. The award honors the student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and active involvement in the school's and university’s activities.

            Paul Carstens, an aviation maintenance technology senior from Marquette, won the D. J. Jacobetti Outstanding Student Award. The award recognizes the student who has demonstrated outstanding involvement and contribution to his fellow students and to the school.
