STUDENTS GIVE PRESENTATIONS AT REGIONAL HONORS CONFERENCE

            MARQUETTE – Six students from Northern Michigan University honors program gave presentations recently at the Upper Midwest Regional Honors Conference at Drake University in Des Moines.

            The students and their presentations are:

 

            Michigan (cities listed alphabetically)

            Kingsley: Amy Barritt, a social science/history junior, "Moron, Schizo and Hysterical:  Positive Language Changes in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders;" Marquette: Benjamin Van Handel, a biochemistry senior, "A Programmatic Approach to Source Separation of Household Organic Residuals;" Veronica Howard, a psychology/behavior analysis senior, "Behavior Modification: A Case Study in the Ethical Grey Zone;" Negaunee: Lacy Gregg, a psychology sophomore, co-presented "Health Code Violations in Marquette, MI restaurants;" St. Clair: Amee Loftis, a social work freshman, "The Aesthetic of Rococo."

            Libertyville: Erin Bakshis, a sociology junior, co-presented "Health Code Violations in Marquette, MI restaurants."
