NMU STUDENTS ATTEND ATHLETIC TRAINERS MEETING

            MARQUETTE – Eleven students from Northern Michigan University recently attended a national conference of the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association held in Toledo, Ohio. 

            The purpose of GLATA is to advance, encourage and improve the athletic training profession in all its phases and to promote a better working relationship among those persons interested in the athletic training profession.

            At the meeting, the students had the opportunity to listen to discussions about current jobs in the athletic training field, advice about how to secure a good job, sports massage, eating disorders and other concerns in the athletic training field.  

            The students who attended the meeting were:
