MARQUETTE – The Senior Art Exhibit at Northern Michigan University will open Friday, April 15, at the DeVos Art Museum. This show will give seniors in the art and design department the opportunity to showcase their work one more time before graduation.
Pieces from 52 student artists will be featured, representing various media including illustration, photography, digital cinema, graphic design, ceramics, metals, painting/papermaking, electronic imaging, product design, sculpture, environmental design and drawing/painting.
A closing reception for the exhibit will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 6. There is no charge to view the exhibit or attend the reception.
