MARQUETTE – There will be a Polish benefit dinner from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University.
The menu includes stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, spaghetti, pierogis, dilled carrots, garden and potato salads, and a dessert array of Polish recipes. Entertainment will be provided by Red Rzanca and his accordion, and the NMU international dance club. Door prizes will be available.
Proceeds from the events will go to the Kutno, Poland Orphanage through the Polish Children’s Foundation of Hope. More information on the orphanage and foundation will be available at the dinner.
Tickets are $8 for the general public, $5 for students and $4 for children 12 and under, and are available at the Student Activities and Leadership Office in the University Center, from professor Chris Kibit in the Jacobetti Center, and at the door.
