MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will hold its 6th annual programming contest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 19, in Jamrich Hall. The competition is organized by the NMU student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
Teams of three members will be assigned a list of seven problems to solve over a five-hour period. The team that solves the most problems correctly wins. If there is a tie, the team that solved the problems in the shortest time will be declared the winner.
Those who don’t have a team of three upon signup will be paired with other single participants. Lunch and dinner will be provided, and each participant will receive a free t-shirt.
