PLANET CHAT SESSION TO BE HELD

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The Northern Michigan University department of modern languages and literatures will host the next Planet Chat session from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, in the Whitman Commons area.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Three NMU students will share their personal stories and experiences about traveling abroad.

In addition, languages adjunct instructor Amy Orf will talk about her experiences in Cuba, and English professor John Smolens will discuss his experiences in Italy.

There is no specific theme for this chat session.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  "We donÂ’t want to limit interests," French professor Nell Kupper said.

Food will be available. Students can pick up information about study abroad programs, how to prepare for a visit or study abroad and what to expect in encountering other cultures.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The public is invited to attend. There is no admission charge.
