SENIOR ART EXHIBIT FINAL SHOW IN LEE HALL ART MUSEUM

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The senior art exhibit will open as the final exhibition in the Lee Hall Art Museum Thursday, Dec. 2 at Northern Michigan University. The exhibit runs through Friday, Dec. 17.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  “It is special because itÂ’s the last show in Lee Hall,” art museum director Wayne Francis said. “WeÂ’ve been in Lee Hall for 25 years.”

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The museum will be moving into the new DeVos Art Museum in January 2005.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Twenty-two students will be exhibiting their art pieces for the show. All sorts of media, ranging from paintings and drawings to electronic imaging, will be on display.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  There will be a reception from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at the art museum; it will be open to the public from 8-9 p.m. A $500 award, courtesy of the Friends of the University Art Museum, will be given for Best of Show during the reception.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The Lee Hall Art Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
