NMU TO PARTICIPATE IN WORLD AIDS DAY

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University students will commemorate World AIDS Day with performances scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center. 

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Selections from Broadway shows, student writing, video essays, visual arts pieces, a percussion piece and a dance performance are among the scheduled acts.  The participating students are members of the Forest Roberts Theatre student community.  A raffle will also be held to benefit Equity Fights AIDS, a non-profit fundraising organization.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Sponsored by VOX and the College of Arts and Sciences, this free event is open to the public.
