Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – In conjunction with the Holocaust Awareness Project, “The Grey Zone” will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, in the Whitman Hall commons area at Northern Michigan University. 

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Set in an Auschwitz concentration camp, “The Grey Zone” is told from the perspective of a group of Jewish prisoners who aided the Nazis in their crimes in exchange for brief life extensions. The title of the movie refers to the grey zone of emotion these Sonderkommando prisoners felt participating in crimes against their own people.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Chase Meyer, an NMU senior, will introduce the movie. It is rated R for graphic content. The public is invited to attend.
