NCLL OFFERS PRESENTATION ABOUT LIVING IN THE ARAB WORLD

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering a presentation about living, working and traveling in the Arab world from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the Mead Auditorium in the Seaborg Center at Northern Michigan University.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Liz Oesleby, head of public services at NMUÂ’s Olson Library, has lived, worked and traveled in 52 countries in the 24 years prior to coming to Marquette in November 2002. She will share her experiences of being a single, professional woman in Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates. Her presentation includes slides, realia – objects associated with everyday life in a culture – and books she collected during her stay.
