Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Nakai began his musical career with classical training on the cornet and trumpet.  While researching American Indian music and traditional instruments he was intrigued by the wooden flute and shifted his focus to that instrument.  He started playing the flute seriously in 1972 and has since released several solo albums.

“My music reflects the ancient songs and stories sought from many sources and traditions,” said Nakai. “It’s music to stir your heart, to help you find your own dream in the rainbow world.”
