MARQUETTE Ã‚– The Northern Michigan University art museum presents its second show in the Ã‚“Last of Lee Hall Series,Ã‚” featuring the work of NMU art and design faculty and adjunct instructors. The show can be seen until Oct. 11. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The exhibit is a multimedia show, featuring everything from paintings and ceramics to architectural drawings and electronic images.Ã‚
Ã‚ Ã‚“ItÃ‚’s highlighting our own faculty,Ã‚” said Wayne Francis, NMU art museum director.Ã‚ Ã‚“ItÃ‚’s a good beginning-of-the-semester way to show our students what our faculty is doing.Ã‚”
Starting in January, the NMU art museum will change its name to the DeVos Art Museum and will be moved into the new art and design complex.
