RED PINE PATHOGENS TOPIC OF NMU SEMINAR

MARQUETTE – The biology department at Northern Michigan University will sponsor a seminar by master’s degree candidate Jessica Stolze. She will give a presentation titled, “Using mycorrhization helper bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi as potential biological control agents against red pine (Pinus resinosa) root pathogens.”

The seminar is scheduled at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, in the Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building at NMU. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
