Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering ideas to “spruce up” photos with technology from 7-9 p.m. Monday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, in room 2911 of the West Science Building at Northern Michigan University.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Professional photographer Jim Godell will show participants how to use Photoshop Elements to change colors, edit objects, darken or lighten photos and more. Though the emphasis will be on digital photographs, film negatives or slides can be scanned into the software, so the class is not limited to those with digital cameras.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The cost to attend is $8 for NCLL members and $14 for nonmembers, and registration is limited to 24 participants. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, April 14. To register or for more information, call 906-228-9367.
