PROGRAM EXPLORES MENTAL ILLNESS AND THE ARTS

MARQUETTE – Dr. Greg Sulik, a local medical doctor and accomplished musician, will give a presentation on how mental illness has influenced art and music. There will be a special emphasis on Van Gogh, deGoya, Schumann, Munch and others.

Sulik will use a combination of lecture, slides and musical examples. The event is sponsored by the Northern Center for Lifelong Learning. It will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at First United Methodist Church.
