NCLL OFFERS FLY FISHING FOR WOMEN

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering a course on fly fishing for women from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays, May 25-June 8, in West Science room 2911.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Instructors Kimberly Clark, Lynn Emerick, Ann Wilson and Jean V. Adams will talk about the sport of fly fishing, covering rods, reels, lines, knots, “bugs,” casting, where fish live, outdoor ethics and safety. There will be classroom and lakeside instruction and practice. Equipment will be provided with the assistance of the Fred Waara Chapter of Trout Unlimited, or participants can bring their own.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The cost to attend the course is $20 for NCLL member and $29 for nonmembers, which includes an $8 materials fee. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, May 18, and participation is limited to 12. To register or for more information, call 906-249-1586.
