MARQUETTE Ã‚– Ã‚“A Legal History of Gender Rights in the United StatesÃ‚” will be the topic of the next psychology department colloquium at Northern Michigan University. It is scheduled from 3:10-4:25 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, in Gries Hall room 167.
Ruth Watry, an NMU political science professor, will discuss the federal and state legal history of gender rights. She will also address the rights that have been interpreted through the U.S. Supreme Court and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th amendment.
