MARQUETTE Ã‚– The Center for Gerontological Studies at Northern Michigan University will sponsor a presentation on the scope of elder law as a tool to assist older adults and their families.
The program is scheduled from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in Pioneer B of the NMU University Center. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
Attorney Susan Wideman, who specializes in elder law, will be the presenter. She is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, a board member of the Citizens for Better Care, and a past board member of the Marquette/Alger AlzheimerÃ‚’s Association.
Immediately following the presentation, the Center for Gerontological Studies will hold an open house in 118 Gries Hall. This event is also open to the public free of charge.
