UPPER PENINSULA INDIAN EDUCATORS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The seventh annual Upper Peninsula Indian Educators Conference will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, and Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the University Center at Northern Michigan University.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The conference is designed for all U.P. educators who work with Native American students as well as educators whose curriculum explores Native American topics. Several guest speakers are featured, with the keynote speaker being Ron Eglash. EglashÂ’s presentation is titled “Modern Computing and Indigenous Design”.
