MARQUETTE – Mission IMPROVable, a fast-paced form of comedy in which professional actors perform spontaneous theater games based on audience input, is coming to Northern Michigan University on Monday, Oct. 27. The games are similar to those on the television show, “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Each game is made up by the actors on the spot based on audience suggestions. Some games have volunteers playing along with the Mission IMPROVable group.
The performance itself is themed around the classic TV show, Mission Impossible. The audience members are co-agents, the games are the missions, wit and high jinks are the weapons, and the six members of Mission IMPROVable are the agents.
The performance is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in Jamrich Hall 102. Admission is free for NMU students and $2 for non-students.
