NMU BIOLOGY PRESENTS TWO SEMINARS

MARQUETTE – The Northern Michigan University biology department will present two seminars this week to close out the winter semester.

Melissa Stuart will discuss “A Potential Role for Intracellular Antibodies in the Biological Control of Pest Insects” at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in the Mead Auditorium of the West Science Building.

Curt Elderkin, a zoology professor at Miami University in Ohio, will present “Population Genetics of Exotic and Native Bivalves in North American River Ecosystems.” The seminar is scheduled at 4 p.m. Friday, May 2, in the Mead Auditorium.
