Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will host the “2003 Clothes Line Project” display from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the ground level of the Learning Resource Center.

Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The display is to recognize survivors of sexual assault, dating violence or domestic violence. NMU is hosting the display to recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Clothes Line Project is a way for survivors to express their thoughts and feelings, and for the community to see the impact of sexual assault and dating and domestic violence has on women.

Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Community members and NMU students are welcome to design a t-shirt for the display. Contact Lenny Shible in the Health Promotions Office at 906-227-1455 for more information. The Clothes Line Project is sponsored by the Health Promotions Office, NMU Public Safety, the WomenÂ’s Center and the NMU Counseling Center.
