Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The rock band Counting Crows will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, at the Berry Events Center at Northern Michigan University. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Counting Crows formed in 1990. They opened a concert for Bob Dylan in June 1992 in Los Angeles and filled in for Van Morrison in January 1993 at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The band released the first of five albums, August and Everything After, in September 1993. They released their latest album, Hard Candy, on July 9. It certified gold in October of that year and has been nominated for this yearÂ’s California Music Awards.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Tickets are available in advance at all NMU E-Z Ticket Outlets. Advance tickets cost $18 for NMU students and $22 for the general public. Tickets at the door cost $20 for NMU students and $24 for the general public. The event is sponsored by the student activity fee, Northern Arts and Entertainment and WMQT-FM.
