BIOLOGY SEMINAR TO DISCUSS TREE RINGS AS HISTORICAL SOURCES

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – The next Northern Michigan University biology seminar will discuss “Traditional Stories from Non-traditional Sources: Tree-rings Reveal Historical Uses of Fire by Native Americans on Lake SuperiorÂ’s Southern Shore.” It will be presented by NMU graduate student Becky Torretti.

The seminar is scheduled at 4 p.m. Friday, March 28, in room 2204 of the New Science Facility. There is no admission cost and all are invited to attend. For more information, call the NMU biology department at 227-2310.
