SEABORG EXPLORATION SERIES DISCUSSES MOOSE IN MICHIGAN

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – “Moose in Michigan” will be the topic of a presentation at the Seaborg Center at Northern Michigan University. The event is scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Mead Auditorium of the West Science Building.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Terry Minzey, a biologist for the Department of Natural Resources, will present the topic, with a special focus on moose adaptations for winter survival.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  This is the third event in a series of evening presentations held in connection with the “Exploring Winter” exhibit. The exhibit is about the wonders of the season, with an emphasis on winter in the Upper Peninsula. It runs through Feb. 28.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The presentation is suitable for the entire family and there is no admission charge.
