The Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees will hold its annual retreat on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 13-14. Three new trustees appointed by former Gov. John Engler will be participating for the first time. They are: Alan Ackerman of Bloomfield Hills, Larry Inman of Williamsburg and Doug Roberts of East Lansing.

Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ In conjunction with this annual retreat, the NMU Board of Trustees will sponsor a Ã‚“Get AcquaintedÃ‚” reception from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in the Explorer Rooms of the University Center. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
It presents an opportunity for the university and Marquette communities to meet and talk with the trustees, three of whom (as mentioned above) are new appointees whose terms began Jan. 1. The other members are: Mary Campbell of Ann Arbor, who is serving as chair for the 2003 calendar year; Karl Weber of Marquette, vice chair; Samuel Benedict of Rapid River; Scott Holman of Freeland; and Mary Lukens of Ann Arbor.
