Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – Actor, writer and producer Jamie Kennedy will visit Northern Michigan University on Sunday, Feb. 16. He will give a public presentation at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Kennedy co-wrote and stars in the upcoming Warner Brothers film “MalibuÂ’s Most Wanted,” which will be distributed in April. His character is Brad “B-Rad” Gluckman, a white wannabe rap star from Malibu whose wealthy father (Ryan OÂ’Neal) has him kidnapped by two gangstaÂ’ actors (Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson) and sent to Compton to scare the ‘hood out of him.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Kennedy has also performed in Wes CravenÂ’s “Scream” and “Scream 2,” for which he won a Blockbuster Award for Best Supporting Actor/Horror; “Bait” with Jamie Foxx and David Morse; “Boiler Room” with Ben Affleck and Giovanni Ribisi; “Bowfinger” with Eddie Murphy, Steve Martin and Heather Graham; “Enemy of the State” with Will Smith and Gene Hackman; and “William ShakespeareÂ’s Romeo and Juliet” with Leonardo DiCaprio.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Admission is $2 for NMU students and $5 for non-students.
