MARQUETTE – The Northern Michigan Board of Trustees approved a tuition schedule for Summer College 2003 at its Dec. 13 meeting. The schedule eliminates itemized on-campus fees in favor of a simple per-credit-hour tuition charge equal to the current fall and winter semester rates.
The university will eliminate the following fees that appeared on Summer College 2002 bills: the $75 registration fee; and the University Center, Health Center and Learning Technologies fee, which was $33 or $105, depending on the number of credit hours.
As part of the restructuring, tuition for resident undergraduate students enrolled in 1-5 credit hours will increase $39 to $172 per credit. Those taking more than five credits will pay $152 per credit, an increase of $45.
Other tuition changes are as follows:

more than 5 credits 211 265 54
