Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni and friends are invited to attend several commemorative events on Wednesday, September 11, in remembrance of the victims of the 9-11 tragedies.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  A commemorative walk will start at 12:45 p.m. at the center of the Academic Mall and end at the University Center. It will be followed by an ecumenical service at 1 p.m. in the UCÂ’s Peter White Lounge.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  A panel discussion, “Reflection on 9-11: Academic and Personal Perspectives,” will be held at 7 p.m. in room 101 of Jamrich Hall. The featured panelists and their respective departments are: Dr. Candy Bays, English; Dr. James Greene, Philosophy; Dr. Robert Kulisheck, Political Science; Dr. Mohey Mowafy, HPER; and Major John Vickers, Military Science. The panel moderator will be Dr. Chuck Ganzert of CAPS.
