WILL KEIM TO SPEAK AT NMU

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – Will Keim, a motivational speaker who promotes the development of leadership through the education of character, will give a public presentation at Northern Michigan University. His talk, “Welcome to the Time of Your Life,” is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, in Jamrich Room 102. There is no admission charge. Keim has lectured to more than two million students in the United States, Canada, Australia, Greece and Malaysia. He has been an author, educator, residence hall director, educational program coordinator and a campus minister. Because of his work, he understands students and the major issues facing them. He conveys serious and important messages while maintaining humor in his lectures. Keim has received an “Outstanding Man of America” award and was selected as the Outstanding Professor at Oregon State University. He also belongs to the Order of Omega, Blue Key.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  This will mark KeimÂ’s sixth visit to NMU. He will also lead a Skill Builder! workshop for NMU students titled, “Creating a Community of Mattering in a Multicultural Environment,” from 3-4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in the Marquette/Nicolet Rooms of the University Center.
