MARQUETTE - Northern Michigan University's Walker L. Cisler College of Business awarded scholarships to three Iron Mountain area students.

The scholarships were created to recognize students' business leadership, academic excellence and contributions to the college of business. The following students received awards: - Angel R. Leslie of Quinnesec received the Sam and Evelyn Cohodas Scholarship. Leslie, a junior, is a business education major.

Leslie is a member of the NMU Student Leader Fellowship Program, and while she lived in the residence halls, she was active in her house and hall governments. A 1994 graduate of Kingsford High School, Leslie is the daughter of Lewis and Mary Leslie of Quinnesec.

& Jelena Milosavljevic, a 1995 graduate of Goodman-Armstrong Creek High School, received the James T. Dunne Scholarship. Milosavljevic, a sophomore, is an accounting major.

Milosavljevic is a member of the International Students Club, the Accounting and Finance Club, the Student Leader Fellowship Program and she is a resident advisor in Gant Hall.

Milosavljevic is originally from Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, but her host parents are Fraser and Cecilia Krantz of Goodman, Wisc. She is the daughter of Nikola and Ruzica Milosavljevic of Novi Sad.

" Nicole M. Wagner of Iron Mountain received the Sam M. Cohodas College of Business Scholarship. Wagner, a junior, is an accounting major.

Wagner has been active in her house government in Payne Residence Hall as treasurer and recycling representative. She wants to become a certified public accountant.

A 1994 graduate of Kingsford High School, Wagner is the daughter of David L. and K. Elaine Wagner of Iron Mountain.

" Daniel P. Wentarmini, a 1990 graduate of Iron Mountain High School, received the Makela, Toutant & Hill Scholarship. Wentarmini, a junior, is an accounting major.

Wentarmini is a member of the NMU Accounting and Finance Club. The husband of Amber M. Wentarmini, he now lives in Marquette.
