FIRST NIGHTERS CLUB TO HOLD CABARET AT NMU

MARQUETTE - The First Nighters Club will hold its 4th annual Cabaret on Saturday, March 16, at Northern Michigan University. "An Evening with Lemer and Loewe" is the theme of this year's event, which features Paul Truckey from Broadway's Les Miserables.

Cabaret 2002 begins with a 6 p.m. social hour in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center, followed by a sit-down dinner. There will be a silent auction throughout the evening, along with entertainment provided by Truckey and NMU students. Lemer and Loewe comprised the creative team behind such musicals as Brigadoon, Camelot, Gigi, My Fair Lady and Paint Your Wagon.

Tickets are $25 per person. They may be obtained in advance by calling the NMU Development Fund office at 227-2627. They may also be purchased at the door. All proceeds from the event go to student scholarships.
