MARQUETTE - The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will sponsor spring birding with expert John Pepin from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 29.

Pepin will bring walkers to farm fields in the Chatham area where spot hawks, bobolinks, meadowlarks, sparrows and spring warblers are at home. Participants will meet at the NMU Superior Dome and car pool to Deer Lake Park in Shelter Bay. They are asked to bring binoculars, a field guide to birds and insect repellent.

The cost of the event is $3 for NCLL members and $6 for non-members. Register with NCLL office by Monday, May 27, at 227-2979.
