Mission:

The International Programs office supports and promotes Northern Michigan University's goals for academic excellence, diversity and citizenship by encouraging responsible and effective engagement with global issues and actions. 

Vision:

To engage the NMU community in a wide range of international experiences which nurture awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures, peoples and ideas.
