The Visiting Scholars Series was created to encourage faculty to invite international colleagues to NMU to open the minds of students and increase the potential for faculty research collaboration.
Each year, this series brings six to eight outstanding scholars to NMU for one week to share their expertise and increase cultural awareness. The visits enable communication between experts around the world and enhances the global perspective of our community. The scholars visit classrooms, meet with faculty and give a community-wide presentation.
This year's series was a great success! Thanks to our visiting scholars and all who attended their presentations.
