International Visiting Scholars Series 2012

The International Visiting Scholars series has been postponed indefinitely. Contact International Programs for more information.

The Visiting Scholars Series was created to encourage faculty to invite international colleagues to NMU to open the minds of students and increase the potential for faculty research collaboration.

This fall, the series brought five outstanding scholars to NMU for one week to share their expertise and increase cultural awareness. The visits enabled communication between experts around the world and enhanced the global perspective of our community. The scholars visited classrooms, met with faculty and gave community-wide presentations.

This year's series was a great success! Thanks to our visiting scholars and all who attended their presentations.
