As a result, Northern Michigan University will not move forward with changing impacted positions from exempt to non-exempt status effective November 20. These positions will continue to be exempt. Therefore, employees who were instructed to track their time differently as a result of moving to non-exempt status will remain exempt and make no changes at this time.
