UNIVERSITY EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE

To provide guidance regarding the stewardship, transfer, and disposal of University owned equipment.

APPLICABILITY

All Faculty and Staff.

POLICY

It is the policy of Northern Michigan University that the ownership of all equipment rests with the University rather than with a department regardless of funding source and that departments are to follow established University procedures regarding equipment disposition and transfers.
