Human Resources Mission

The mission of the Human Resources Department is directly supportive of the mission of the university.  To paraphrase slightly, "NMU will become the employer of choice in the Midwest for individuals seeking a quality university employer with individualized attention in a high-tech learning environment."  Our vision for the future won't compromise the university elements of High Touch, High Tech, and High Quality. 

In executing the mission and balancing the vision elements, Human Resources has a particular obligation to remain true to the university's roadmap:
