Open Enrollments

During Open Enrollment Periods, you may add or delete qualified beneficiaries to your existing coverage (dental, vision, or health) or sign up for additional life insurance as well as a flexible spending account (FSA). Open Enrollment periods are announced to employees via their NMU email account.

• Dental/Vision:  Normally in September for coverage to be effective October 1
• Supplemental Life:  Normally in September; effective date of coverage is determined by The Hartford.
• Health:  Normally in November for coverage to be effective January 1
• Flexible Spending Accounts:  Normally in November for coverage to be effective January 1.
