During Open Enrollment Periods, you may add or delete qualified beneficiaries to your existing coverage (dental, vision, or health) or sign up for additional life insurance as well as a flexible spending account (FSA). Open Enrollment periods are announced to employees via their NMU email account.
- Dental/Vision: Normally in September for coverage to be effective October 1
- Supplemental Life: Normally in September; effective date of coverage is determined by The Hartford.
- Health: Normally in November for coverage to be effective January 1
- Flexible Spending Accounts: Normally in November for coverage to be effective January 1.
