Students in dorm

Dear Wildcats,

Welcome to Northern Michigan University and to your home away from home.  Whether you are a returning student or new to NMU, I am sure you will find that your experience living on campus will significantly add to your overall college experience.

The support available to you from your new friends and the Housing and Residence Life staff will help you achieve your academic goals, learn about yourself, and deal effectively with the other challenges associated with being a college student. The links on the left will help as you begin to learn about living on campus, as well as serve as a resource for information you may find useful.

I encourage you to take advantage of the services we offer, as well as the many opportunities available to you while living on campus and attending Northern Michigan University.  Best wishes for a successful academic year.
