All students living in residence halls are required to participate in one of the meal plans. Meal plans are for the designated student and cannot be used for guest meals. Each meal plan includes flexible cash value, dining dollars, which allow students to purchase snacks for late hours and convenience during the day.
Those who purchase a Residence Hall Meal Plan (other than Spooner Meal Plan) get four “Guest Passes” included on their NMU ID each semester.

The 25-visit plan offers other members of the university community an introductory meal plan at a reasonable rate! The 25-visit plan costs $195.
The 50-visit plan offers other members of the university community a logical meal plan at a reasonable rate! The 50-visit plan costs $365.
The 75-visit plan offers other members of the university community a logical meal plan at a reasonable rate by using this plan. The 75-visit plan costs $525.
In addition to these three meal plan options, students may choose a Dining Dollars option by placing any amount on their meal card (e.g., $5.00 per meal).
