Katie Cischke is originally from Southest Michigan.  She came to NMU in 1999 and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work.  Katie spent two years as a Resident Adviser in Dakota House in Halverson Hall, and transferred to the Community Adviser staff in the 1600 Lincoln Apartments for her last two years at NMU.  After completing her degree, be becan working at a non-profit child welfare agency in lower Michigan.  She returned to NMU in hte fall of 2008 to become the Resident Director in West Hall.  She then became the Resident Director in Spooner Hall in 2010 and was hired as the Coordinator of Apartment Services in 2012.
