culminating in a fun and memorable night. When you got too tired or just passed out, you could do so in places such as a heart or an airplane (without the crying babies) or underneath an apple tree. Our first ever HSO Children’s Museum Sleepover was a great success and we hope to do it again in the future.
However, it was not all fun and games, learning was involved. Below are some of the facts I learned at the sleepover.
Did you know?
• That a shrimp has its heart in its head
• Dirty snow melts faster than its cleaner counterpart
• The Atlantic Ocean is saltier than the Pacific Ocean
• Babies crawl an average of 200m a day
• A cat can jump five times as it is tall
• The state of Florida is bigger than England
