1. Introduction

Meet Shannan, Jennifer and Irene. They lead fulfilling lives, filled with family, travel, exercise, and satisfying work. 

They also live with rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune joint disease that causes pain, joint damage and disability. 

Over the years, they have gone through treatment changes and lifestyle alterations in order to control their disease and continue their hobbies, jobs and active daily life.
